Pole Barn Construction7

Barbara Richter lost 212 lbs and it's no fluke. You can lose as much weight as you wish, just like she did... and you'll be all the fitter too.

Would you believe that anyone could lose that much weight by walking? I wouldn't, unless I saw the evidence... which I did. And, somehow, I still find myself shaking my head... wondering, but facts are facts.

The Europeans have proven that it's not so hard to blast away fat. They've found a way to do it even faster -- by walking. Now before you sigh.. and think you've heard it all before... listen up for just a minute. This is not some kind of marathon walk, nor, is it your normal run-of-the-mill, ordinary walking. There's a slight difference. This type of walking requires a special "device". But it's nothing hi-tech, complicated, nor expensive. It's a Pole. A walking pole. A special type of pole used for walking which helps you burn up to 52% more calories than walking without it.

In Finland, where Olympic skiers found it hard to keep in shape during summer months, an inventor designed a special pole specifically for this purpose. When the skiers walked using these poles, the effect on their bodies was the same as if they were skiing. Muscles that would not normaly be engaged during walking - now were thoroughly excercised when they walked with these poles... just as if they had skied.

By walking with these Poles you...

a:) Force your body to engage more muscles than you normally would for a walk, (thus burning more calories). b:) Ease pressure off your back, hips, knees, ankles and feet (making walking less strenuous).

During a 2 year study conducted by Asher Health Labs, overweight people who got marginal results from "plain" regular walking found they really started melting away pounds after they began walking with the Pole. Fat started to disappear not just from legs and thighs, but also from the arms, back, belly and neck.

This same study concluded that "Pole Walking" was more effective than jogging, because over a 10 week period, pole-walkers lost on average 8lbs and 6 inches more than joggers.

A participant who was ordered by her doctor, to "lose weight or else face the rest of your life in a wheel chair", swore she would do everything to lose weight, except walk. After, 34 years of obesity her joints and ankles were weak and she suffered terribly each time she stood. With no other choice left, she opted in for this test, and was surprised to find that using the Pole definitely made walking possible. For the first time in years she could walk short distances without agonizing pain. So much so that she continued walking daily with poles and eventually lost 212 lbs. of excess fat. "The Pole just takes so much stress off my joints" she commented, "and each day I could go just a bit further."

But it did not happen overnight. "It took the better part of 21 months but I don't believe I could have done it by dieting alone," she added.

Another participant who had struggled for years to flatten her belly but just could not lose that last 12 lbs. volunteered for this test. She used to do sit-ups 3 times a week. It did nothing for her except give her lower back pain. She was glad to find that walking with a pole had given her a perfectly flat, well-toned tummy in 25 days.

A walking pole is, in my opinion, one of the best investments you could make in your weight loss or fitness program. With prices as low as $20 to as high as $200+ it's easy to find one to match your pocket. You do NOT need an expensive designer model... I found the less expensive brands equally effective.

Conclusion: the pole helps you maintain the perfect posture to bring into play other muscles and parts of your body which do not normally engage when walking without the poles. It also appears to be a lot safer than normal walking since the pole can help you maintain balance.

Found: Walking with a Pole can burn off 16lbs - 20lbs a month.
