If money is supposed to be the root of all evil, then why does everyone want more of it?
I swear every time someone says, "money is the root of all evil" I just cringe like someone just took their fingernails and ran them down a chalkboard.
Let's get one thing straight right now. Money is not the root of evil. Whoever came up with that saying apparently never had much money and came up with a very good excuse to use for their lack of it. I am sure there is a history behind that saying but I am not very concerned with it since it's not a factual statement as far as I and many other people are concerned.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with having money, having lots of it, and wanting more. The more money you have the more good you can do for others, your family, church, charities and trying to make the world a better place for generations to come.
What is the root of all evil is greed. When you are just working to make money only for the sake of making money for your own glory then that is where the problem comes in to play.
If you wish to have more money you must be more yourself. You must grow yourself as a person. Ways to do that is by reading books on other people who have already achieved what you wish to achieve, listening to audio programs or reading book by motivational speakers, constantly filling your mind with positive thoughts on abundance, wealth, health, and happiness and making those your dominant thoughts and most of all serve others.
Like Joe Schroeder stated, "you can only make money to the degree that your awareness will allow you to keep."
